Removing Trend OfficeScan
How can I uninstall Trend Officescan?
Save to del.icio.usDuring an upgrade of Trend Officescan, the installation may become corrupt. You are unable to uninstall Trend with Add/Remove programs. When you try to reinstall you get an error stating that Trend OfficeScan is already installed.
Trend has released a tool that will force an uninstall, allowing you to complete are re-install.
Follow the steps listed below:
1.Download the CommonUninstallTool.zip file.
2.Extract the ZIP file to a folder on the client machine.
3.Double-click the CmnUnins.exe file. This removes the OfficeScan client program.
* This is for OfficeScan 7.0, OfficeScan 7.3, and OfficeScan 8.0
